Description

The balustrade, made of limestone ashlar, is located approximately 30 meters southwest of Lilford Hall. It was designed in the mid-19th century by W.G. Habershon from St. Neots. The balustrade consists of two sections with arched designs that meet at right angles. It features rusticated square piers, some topped with ball finials. This balustrade is part of the forecourt of Lilford Hall and is associated with other structures including a gate arch, walls, and additional balustrades and seating located northeast, east, and south of the hall.
