Description

South Bridge, located within the Urban District of Oundle, is believed to have been constructed in the late 18th century, although it is more likely that it was rebuilt or repaired at some point. The bridge features seven spans, comprising four semi-elliptical arches and three segmental arches at the north end. It is built of coursed rubble with saddlestone coping on the parapet walls. The maximum width between the parapets is 16 feet 7 inches.
