Description
The stocks, whipping post, and attached shelter, located approximately 30 meters northwest of the Church of St. Leonard, are likely from the 17th century, with the shelter dating to the early 20th century. The stocks and whipping post are probably made of oak and feature iron bands and six leg holes. The shelter is constructed from squared coursed limestone and has a Collyweston slate roof. It is open-fronted and includes attached railings, with the stocks and whipping post mounted inside. The shelter has a hipped roof.
