Description
This is a terrace of five cottages built in the late 18th century, located on Mill Lane. The cottages are constructed from squared coursed limestone and feature a pantile roof, forming an L-shape plan. They are two storeys high. The elevation facing Mill Road has a six-window range of casements with glazing bars, all set under wooden lintels. To the right, there is an ashlar gable parapet, while the left side has a hipped roof and brick stacks at the ridge. The left elevation consists of a three-window range on the ground floor, with two Lincolnshire dormers on the first floor. The rear elevations are similar, featuring plank and panelled doors under wooden lintels between the window ranges. The interiors have not been inspected but are likely to contain remnants of an open fireplace.
