Description
This barn, located approximately 30 meters northeast of The Old Rectory, dates from the mid-18th century and is now used as a garage. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a pantile roof. Originally, it was a one-unit barn with a central hayloft door beneath a Lincolnshire eaves dormer. There are triangular vents on both the left and right sides, and evidence suggests there was a blocked cart entrance in the center. The barn has an ashlar gable parapet and includes 19th and 20th-century openings at the rear. It was likely converted into a coach house and stables in the mid-19th century. The interior has not been inspected, but it probably retains some of the original roof structure.
