Description
The former Sunday School and adjoining house, built in 1804 with later additions and alterations in the mid and late 19th century, is constructed of squared ironstone and brick, topped with late 19th-century Welsh slate roofs. The building features a rubble plinth, a rendered eaves band, and two brick gable stacks. It stands two storeys high with four bays plus a single bay for the house.
On the north side, the windows are three-light wooden mullioned and transomed casements. There is a near-central flush door with an overlight inscribed 'Church Sunday School', flanked by single casements. Above this door, there are four casements, all with flat arches. The house to the right has a single casement on each floor. The south side has blocked ground floor windows, and above, there are three 20th-century fixed lights. The east gable features a datestone inscribed '1804'.
