Description

The chest tomb located 6 meters east of the chancel of the Church of Holy Trinity is a Grade II listed structure from 1643. It is made of limestone and features a plain design with a chamfered plinth and a gabled top. The south side of the tomb is inscribed with the names and dates of Thomas Steevens, also known as Canwarden, who passed away on March 14, 1643, and his wife Susann, who died on August 26, 1626. The east side includes a Latin inscription.
