Description

Tansor Lodge Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roofs. It is arranged with a double-depth plan and comprises two storeys with an attic. The front facade features a three-window arrangement of sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath gauged stone heads. A central, part-glazed door sits within a moulded wooden surround with plain pilasters and panelled reveals, and is topped by an arch-head fanlight. A 20th-century porch now covers the doorway. Three hipped roof dormers, each with a casement window, are visible. The farmhouse is finished with ashlar gable parapets and brick and stone stacks at the ends. Rear wings, matching the style, extend outwards with casement windows and parallel roofs set at right angles to the main front. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse is located on the east side of the A605 road.
