Description
Number 1 and the attached barn is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is built of squared coursed ironstone and features a thatched roof. The house has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a two-window range of leaded casements set under wooden lintels, with similar casements under eyebrow dormers in the attic. A central 19th-century plank door is also located under a wooden lintel. There are brick stacks at both ends of the house. Attached to the left side is a limestone barn that is now part of the house, which has two casement windows under wooden lintels. There is a thatched lean-to attached to the far left. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have spine beams.
