Description

Nos 74 and 76 on West Street are 18th-century houses that stand two storeys tall. They are constructed from roughly coursed rubble and roughcast, topped with stone slate roofs and featuring three hipped dormers. Each house has four hung sash windows with glazing bars. The door to No 76 is a six-panel design with a rectangular fanlight above it. No 74 has two modern windows on the ground floor, while No 76 has one modern window. These houses are part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 36 (even) and 42 to 46A (even) and 52 to 98 (even).
