Description

The property comprises an early 18th and early 19th century farmhouse with an attached barn. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and limestone, with a brick facade, and has a slate roof. The house follows an L-shaped plan. The main front, dating from the early 19th century, has a three-window range, with the central bay projecting. The central entrance features a six-panelled door within a panelled wooden surround. Casement windows with glazing bars are set under flat brick arches. The roof is hipped with brick stacks at each end. The rear of the house, dating from the early 18th century, incorporates casement windows with glazing bars under wooden lintels. An 18th century barn is attached to the rear, with a central cart entrance.

Inside, a staircase with a stick balustrade rises around an open well.
