Description
This is a house dating from the 17th century, which was later refronted in the 18th century. The main part of the house is built of colourwashed rubble stone, with a colourwashed brick front. A west wing is constructed of rubble stone. The roof is thatched, with a half-hipped section on the left. The house has three bays and one storey, with dormers in the roof. A single-storey left wing has a slate roof.
The south elevation includes a door, a two-light casement window, and a door in a tiled open porch in front of a stack, indicating a lobby entry plan. There is also a two-light casement window to the right. The windows have segmental arches. A band course runs along the elevation. Three eaves dormers are present. A small closet window is positioned above the door in front of the stack. The east gable elevation has a door in a tile-roofed open porch and a modern casement window to the attic. A brick stack, dating from the 17th century, sits between the right-hand bays.
Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace to the left of the stack. Timber-framed cross walls are visible, alongside a chamfered spine beam with run-out stops in the central bay.
