Description
Dean Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-16th century, with later alterations. It is timber-framed and has brick infill, with the first floor tile-hung. The house is two storeys high and has two large gabled ends, alongside two smaller gables in the centre. Four large three-light casement windows are present. The roof is tiled, with original chimney stacks: one has two diagonal broach shafts and another lateral to the end of the crosswing, and the other has four diagonal shafts and one 17th-century shaft. Inside, the right-hand crosswing features a crown post roof, and there are two original red brick fireplaces.
