Description

The Church of St Anne was built in 1866 by the architect William Butterfield, with an aisle added in 1877. The church is constructed of flint rubble and features a red brick tile roof. Inside, there is a stained glass window that serves as a memorial to the Courtauld Thomson family. The church retains complete fittings designed by Butterfield, including a wooden screen and a marble font. The east window, created by Gibbs in 1866, is also notable.
