Description

Stoke Lodge is a house dating from approximately 1830 to 1840. It is built with a whitewashed render facade, topped by a slate roof with a steeper-than-usual pitch. The eaves are boarded and feature shaped brackets between the windows, with brick chimneys on either side. The house has two storeys and five bays. It has 3-pane sash windows with raised architrave surrounds and sills resting on shaped brackets. The central entrance door comprises two arched glazed panels, a shaped fanlight, and panelled reveals. A porch with a flat entablature supported by Ionic columns provides cover. A secondary wing is attached to the rear, left-hand corner of the building.
