Description
Tudor Cottage, located at No. 29 on High Street in Long Crendon, is a 17th century building and earlier. It is a single storey structure with an attic, constructed from colour washed rubble and topped with a thatched roof that is half hipped at both ends. The front of the cottage is irregular with three bays, featuring three 3-light casement windows on the ground floor, complete with shutters, and two 2-light casement windows above, all adorned with leaded glazing. There is a stack positioned to the right of the center and on the south gable, with a door located to the left. Inside, there are remnants of a cruck truss to the right of the central stack, with the blades terminating above the collar.
