Description

The Old Post is an 18th-century building of two storeys and an attic. It has a brick string course at first-floor level and an old tile roof. The building follows a double-pile plan, with two gabled elevations facing north, and a central chimney. The front has three bays, featuring segmental-headed sash windows, with ledged shutters to the ground-floor windows. A six-panel door is centrally placed, sheltered by a flat hood supported on modern brackets. There are sash windows in both north-facing gable ends, set within the attic. A brick and rubble stone garden wall runs along Burts Lane.
