Description

Little Orchard is a 17th-century building located on the west side of High Street in Long Crendon. It is a one-storey structure with an attic, constructed of colour-washed rubble and topped with a thatched roof. The building features a central chimney opposite a blocked central doorway, with the upper part converted into a window. There are three-light casements at each end and a similar window above, all set within the thatch. On the left side, there is a wide flat 18th-century bow window, which has nine panes wide and four panes deep, accompanied by a six-panel door on the right that includes a plain fanlight. A three-light upper casement is also present in the thatch. The right end of the building has an early 19th-century addition, which is two-storey and made of colour-washed brick with a slate roof. This addition features a door on the left and a carriage door on the right, along with two upper sashed windows.
