Description

Rosebank Cottage is a house dating to 1794, marked with the initials “IW” on the brickwork. It is constructed of chequer brick with a line of blue headers at the first floor level and features cogged eaves. The roof is tiled, hipped, with a brick chimney on the left side. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised two bays. The left bay and the upper storey of the right bay have three-light wooden casements with bars. The ground floor window on the left has a cambered head. A two-light barred wooden window with small panes and an altered head is on the ground floor to the right. A 20th-century gabled timber porch shelters a central 20th-century door. Above the door is a blind panel with blue headers and a central red diaper. A single-storey weatherboard bay extends to the left. Later 20th-century extensions are set back to the right and at the rear.
