Description
Rose Cottage is a small house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of flint with Denner Hill stone quoins, and features brick eaves and window surrounds. The roof is slate, and there is a brick chimney on the left side. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows are 3-light barred wooden casements, with those on the ground floor having segmental heads. In the centre of the first floor, there is a central blind roundel surrounded by gauged brick. Below this is a flush-panelled door with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. To the left, there is a small single-storey bay that is similar in style, featuring a half-glazed door. The rear of the cottage has Denner Hill stone blocks arranged in a cross pattern at the centre.
