Description
21 and 23 London Road are early 19th-century buildings featuring red stretchers and grey headers, topped with a mansard roof made of Welsh slate behind a parapet. The structure has two storeys, a basement, and an attic. The basement and ground floor are finished in stucco. There are four box dormers with sash windows, two of which on the right have glazing bars. Number 23 is adorned with three tall slim Doric pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The first floor has six sash windows, while the ground floor includes four French windows. The basement has four sash windows, all featuring glazing bars except for those on the ground and first floors of number 21. Access is provided by steps leading up to round-headed doors, with cast iron railings and a verandah on the ground floor. Numbers 21 to 25 (odd) form a group.
