Description
21 and 22 Easton Street are early 19th-century buildings made of plum-colored brick, with red brick raised quoins and dressings. The ground floor features channelled stucco and a Welsh slate roof, with three storeys and an eaves cornice. The ground floor has two wide office windows and a central half-glazed door with an oblong fanlight that includes glazing bars in the reveal. This door is framed by Doric pilasters and has console brackets supporting a hood with a patence, along with a frieze that has oval paterae between the consoles. The upper floors contain three sash windows; the outer windows on the first floor have been altered in the 19th century to form canted bay oriel windows, with a central balconette and glazing bars only in the upper half of the window. The second floor features balconettes with glazing bars. Nos 19 to 23 Easton Street form a group.
