Description
Nos 89 and 90 on Easton Street are 18th-century buildings that have been altered in the 19th century. They are constructed of mauve brick with red brick dressings and feature a tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with a basement and attics, and have a wooden cornice with modillions. There are three gabled 19th-century dormers for ventilation. A moulded band runs along the first floor, and there is a stucco plinth at the base. The front has six flush sash windows set under flat arches. The 19th-century doorway includes marginal lights and a wooden oriel bay on the right. The central doorway on the left features a six-panel door with reeded pilasters and a cut bracketed cornice hood above it. There is a segmental carriageway arch with a keystone on the left side. Nos 86 to 90, along with the railings to Nos 89 and 90, form a cohesive group.
