Description
14 and 15 Easton Street is a building from the late 18th century that has been somewhat altered. It is constructed of flint rubble and red brick, topped with a hipped old tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high with attics and originally featured a seven-bay front with alternately arched, slightly projecting ground floor bays. However, this has been modified by late 19th-century shops and ground floor windows. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals under flat arches. The ground floor has raised flint rustication around the arches and window surrounds. There are two box dormers and one pedimented dormer. The building shares many similarities with the park buildings of West Wycombe House and may have been designed by the same architect.
