Description
Trinity Congregational Church, built in 1850, is a prominent structure located on the north side of London Road. Designed by architect Charles Searle, the church features a Norman style with twin steeples on its south front. The building is constructed of squared rubble with ashlar dressings. It has a central gabled closed porch that includes a wide archway, and tall round-headed windows adorned with ornamental glazing. The roofs are covered with Welsh slate, while the side elevations are made of red brick. Trinity Congregational Church, along with Nos 1 to 17 (odd), forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
