Description

No. 33 West Street is an 18th-century front applied to an older building. It is three storeys high and constructed of stucco, with string courses marking the levels of the first and second floors. The parapet is panelled and features stone coping, and the roof is covered in old tiles. A distinctive triple-tiered rectangular bay projects on the right-hand side, with each tier being smaller than the one below and featuring its own cornice. The ground floor and first-floor windows have been altered. A yard entrance is located on the left-hand side, with windows above. The building forms a group with Nos. 27 to 33 (odd) and Nos. 37 to 51 (odd) on West Street.
