Description
Haydon Mill is a disused watermill built in 1834. It features red and yellow brick construction with a hipped slate roof that has projecting eaves and a projecting header brick eaves cornice. The mill is three storeys high and consists of three bays. On the second floor, there are four diamond brick panels above cambered brick arched openings, which are currently blocked. A central door and a loft door extend through the ground and first floors. There is a one-storey lean-to extension on the right-hand side. The waterwheel has been dismantled, but some machinery remains on site.
