Description

This is a mid-18th century cottage located on Portway, North Marston. It is constructed of whitewashed render over rubble stone, and has a thatched roof with a brick chimney on the left side. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and has two bays. The ground floor has paired barred wooden casements, and a small barred single casement is located below the eaves to the right of centre. A central 20th-century door is located within a boarded gabled porch with trellis panels and shaped bargeboards. Attic windows are set in the gables. To the left is a small outbuilding built of whitewashed brick with a corrugated iron roof.
