Description
This is an early 18th-century cottage located on Bridge Street in Thornborough. The cottage is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings, and it has a thatched roof with a brick stack to the left gable. It is two storeys high with two bays. The ground floor windows are leaded casements, paired together under a continuous lintel, while the first floor has a three-light leaded casement. A modern door is situated on the right side, with a flat hood supported by metal brackets and latticed sides. Single-story extensions have been added to both sides of the original cottage. The left extension is weatherboarded with a half-hipped thatched roof, while the right extension is whitewashed with a tiled roof and a single paired leaded casement window.
