Description

The Old Bakehouse is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century that has been altered over time. It is constructed of rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings and features a tiled roof. The building has a central stack with a stone base on the main block and another stack on the eastern gable. The layout is T-shaped, with a central bay that projects to the front. The house has two storeys and irregular wooden casements. There is a gabled stone porch on the western gable end. A modern lean-to is located in the left angle of the T, along with another modern extension to the left that includes garage openings at the front. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing, which was formerly an outbuilding and has a seven-sided bay window.
