Description

There are three garden urns located to the west and north-west of Wotton House, dating from the early 19th century. Two of the urns are positioned symmetrically in front of the west side of the house. They are made of carved stone and feature stylised flame motifs around the base, as well as Greek fret and Vitruvian scroll friezes. Each urn has a cover adorned with acanthus ornament. The urns stand on rectangular pedestals that have moulded bases and cornices. It is noted that the urn furthest from the house has been relocated.
