Description

The White House, located on Church Street in Amersham, is an early 19th-century building that has been altered over time. It is constructed of stucco and features a slate roof. The house has three storeys and is characterized by pilasters with incised lines and floorbands adorned with wavecrest ornament. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door framed by an architrave and topped with a hood over a rectangular fanlight. The façade has five bays with double-hung sash windows that also have architrave frames and glazing bars. There is a low wing on the north side of the building.
