Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century building of chequered red and grey brick, with a front elevation masking an earlier timber-framed structure with brick nogging. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, featuring a bracketed eaves cornice. The building has four sash windows with glazing bars, set within reveals and topped with stucco-faced lintels. There are pedimented doorways with pilasters and consoles, notably at number 116. A central, elliptically arched carriageway allows for passage. Numbers 114 and 116 are part of a group of buildings that includes numbers 70 to 80 (even), 83 to 110 (even) and 114 to 120 (even) on Church Street.
