Description

No. 10 Pednormead End is an early 17th-century timber-framed building with brick nogging. The ground floor was later built out in the 19th century using colour-washed brick. The building is two storeys high with attics. The ground floor has a three-light casement window, the first floor a two-light casement, and the attic a single-light casement. It has an old tiled roof with a gable facing the road, and a cut bracketed doorhood. Nos. 2 to 4 (even) and Nos. 10 to 14 (even) form a group with Nos. 3 and 5 on Missenden Road. This building is of group value, contributing to the character of the surrounding area.
