Description
No 10 on High Street is an 18th-century building that was formerly known as Nos 6 to 10 and served as Barclays Bank. It stands three storeys tall and features three windows. The exterior is made of vitreous brick, with red brick detailing and moulding. The glazing bars are intact. On the second floor, instead of a central window, there is a recessed rounded panel with a further recessed diamond panel that displays the date 1758. The ground floor has been modernized for bank use. The building has a plain eaves cornice and a modern tiled roof. At the rear, there are three arched windows and one arched door, which was originally a window that matched the other three.
