Description

No 24 on High Street is a building that likely dates from the late 14th century or early 15th century. It has two storeys and features a single-gabled front made of timber frame, with scissors braces and pebble dash infill, topped by an old tiled roof. The first floor extends over the ground floor, supported by crude brackets. To the left, there is a ledged and panelled door, while the rest of the front has a pair of ledged doors with pierced baluster panels. On the first floor, there is a central three-light casement window that includes 19th-century glass. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 24 to 28 (even) and No 32.
