Description

The barn attached to the northeast corner of Kingsland Farmhouse dates from the mid to late 18th century and has been altered. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a plinth, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn consists of four bays, with the left bay likely shortened when the gable was rebuilt. There is a waggon entry in the third bay and a door in the second bay, which has a hayloft entry above it. The roof is supported by double purlins and irregular trusses, some of which include small raking struts. A range of 20th-century outbuildings projects from the right bay but is not considered of special interest.
