Description
Chenies County Primary School and the Schoolmaster's House, dated 1846 on plaques in the gables, are constructed of brick with tile roofs. The school features four bays and is a single storey building with steel casements. The second bay has a gabled section with a date plaque, while the fourth bay is also gabled and projects outward. There is a timber-framed bellcote with an ogee tiled roof and dentil eaves.
To the left is the gable elevation of the Schoolmaster's House, which has a south front of three bays, with a centre gabled section that projects. This house is two storeys high and also has a date plaque in the gable. There is a gabled open porch to the left, and the windows are two-light casements. The outer bays feature cogged eaves and leaded casements. An off-centre stack with three shafts is located to the right, and there is a gabled dormer in the left-hand bay. Additionally, there is a one bay plum brick extension to the left.
