Description
The Lodge is a two-storey estate cottage dated 1857, featuring three bays and constructed of brick. It has a roof covered with scalloped and plain clay tiles. The central bay is gabled and projects forward, displaying deep eaves with pendants at both the apex and the feet. The eaves on the north and south gables are similar in design. The windows are iron lattice casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor. The ground floor of the central bay includes a canted bay window. The left-hand bay has a projecting stack, and there is a stack in the centre, both featuring two diagonal shafts. An extension includes a lean-to entry on the west side.
