Description
The Old School and Schoolmaster's House is a former school and residence built in 1846, as indicated by a tablet in the gable. The building is constructed of flint with red brick dressings and features a tiled roof with three octagonal-shaped chimneystacks made of yellow, red, and black brick. It has one to two storeys and includes three windows.
The left side of the building served as the schoolroom and has two mullioned and transomed triple wooden casements with drip moulding above. It also features a projecting wooden porch with fretted wooden bargeboards. The central gabled porch, adorned with fretted bargeboards, has a two-centred arch.
On the right side is the projecting two-storey former schoolmaster's house, which also displays the date tablet in the gable. Each floor has one mullioned and transomed casement with brick hood moulding. The entrance is located in a flint and brick porch at the angle of the L-shaped structure.
