Description

The Baptist Church, built in 1838, features a stucco front and flint rubble sides with red brick dressings. It is a single-storey building with a podium accessed by stone steps. The façade is adorned with four Doric pilasters and a recessed central porch that holds a large eight-panel door. The side bays have arched recesses that contain dummy window panels with splayed reveals. Above, there is an entablature and a pediment. The side elevations are complemented by three tall windows, each with a central mullion and three transoms.
