Description

Crown House is a medieval building with later alterations, located on the west side of High Street in Great Missenden. It is a continuation of Nos 68 and 68A. The exterior features false timber-framing on painted rendering and an old tile roof adorned with a band of fishscale tiles and a serrated ridge. The house has two storeys, with a carriage entrance on the right and a gabled dormer in the eaves above. The ground floor has a modern door and three plate glass windows. On the first floor, there are three casement windows: a 3-light window on the left, a 2-light window above the door, and another 3-light window on the right. Inside, a cruck truss is visible in the right-hand gable wall.
