Description

Greystones is an 18th-century house, later divided into two properties. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings, and has a slate roof with brick chimneys. The original design was four bays wide. The left-hand bay has 3-pane sash windows; the upper right bay has a 3-pane sash. A 4-pane sash window is located on the ground floor to the right, between two blocked windows. The centre of the first floor has two blocked windows, the one to the left above a 4-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight and a flat hood supported by brackets. To the left is a 19th-century two-storey brick extension, one bay wide, featuring barred casement windows and a 20th-century door to the right, sheltered by a flat metal hood and trellis porch.
