Description

The Ship Inn is a 17th-century building located on the southeast side of West Street. It is two storeys high and features colourwashed stucco, likely applied over a timber frame. The building has a double gabled front topped with a modern tile roof. There are two three-light casement windows that are irregularly spaced, along with central half-glazed double doors. The left-hand ground floor window projects beneath a frieze and cornice that extends over the door, serving as a hood. The Ship Inn is part of a group with Nos 1 to 21 (odd).
