Description
Latchmoor House is likely of 18th century origin, with a 19th century front added as an extension. The house is constructed of brown brick, and has a slate roof concealed behind a parapet, with ball finials on pedestals at each corner. It is two storeys and has an attic. The first floor has five two-light casement windows set in heavy wooden frames, each with a cambered brick relieving arch above. The ground floor features an enclosed wooden porch with attached Roman Doric columns. To the left of the porch are three two-light casement windows, and to the right, one two-light casement window, all with cambered brick relieving arches. All windows have glazing bars. Two dormers are visible in the roof. The group value of this building lies in its contribution to the architectural character of the area.
