Description
The gate and railings, located approximately 20 meters to the northwest of Wotton House, date from the early 18th century and are attributed to Thomas Robinson, although this attribution is not confirmed. They are made of wrought iron and feature a gate with a crest adorned with radiating ornament. The structure includes 20th-century brick dwarf walls and piers, with the piers incorporating re-used carved stone scrolls on the side pilasters. The gate and railings have been moved from their original location at the western end of a fishpond.
