Description

Spencer Cottage is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of red brick with an old tile roof, featuring two stacks centrally and one to the left. The front elevation, five bays wide, presents three bays on the left-hand side (No. 29) with a central, open, tiled lean-to porch. This porch is flanked by three-light casement windows with segmental arched heads. No. 31 has two similar windows and a door to the left. Five two-light casements are present on the first floor, all windows featuring rectangular leaded glazing. A single-storey wing adjoins the left-hand side of No. 29, and a lean-to garage is attached to No. 31.
