Description
The Woolpack Inn is a public house dating from the 17th century that has been altered and extended over time. Originally timber framed, it is now mostly finished in white-painted brick, with some exposed timber framing visible in the gable end. The right-hand section of the building features a thatched roof with a half-hipped gable, while the left-hand section has an old tiled roof, with a brick stack at the junction and another at the left-hand end. There are two gabled dormers that contain sash windows. The building is T-shaped in plan and has one storey plus an attic.
On the right-hand gable end, there is a three-light casement window with a segmental arch on the ground floor and a two-light attic casement window above. The left-hand section has a lean-to roof covered in slate, with a central four-panelled door that has a small timber hood above it. To the left, there is a shallow bay with a barred sash window, while the right side features a triple sash window and a two-light casement window at the far right.
