Description

A range of three cottages dated 1725, located on Risborough Road. The cottages were constructed in the 18th century and are built of red brick with a tiled roof, featuring half-hipped gables and two brick chimneys set into the rear of the ridge. The rear of the building has moulded brick eaves. The front elevation has four bays, with two-light wooden casement windows to the first floor, except for the second window from the left, which is bricked up and incorporates a stone tablet displaying the date 1725. The ground floor windows are three-light casements, each set within a segmental brick arch, with the exception of the second window from the left, which now has a plain door sheltered by a modern pediment hood and porch. Modern two-light windows have been inserted into what were formerly door openings at each end of the building.
