Description

No. 46 St Mary Street is a small 18th century house with two storeys and attics. It is constructed of vitreous bricks with red brick dressings and features an old tiled roof with a moulded cornice. The front has three bays, with a central upper window that is blocked above a doorway, which has a six fielded panelled door and a cut bracketed hood. To the left on the ground floor, there is a late 18th century canted oriel bay window with a reeded sill supported by iron brackets. All windows have flush sashes, and except for the bay window, they feature cut scroll rubber brick flat arches.
